Bra not true to size, maybe it will fit someone? 30DD-ish? Also, a rant.
My Tutti Rouge Nichole Bra arrived today! It is so far from true-to-size that it is ridiculous. I am actually angry about it.
However, it is a beautiful bra and I will be offering it for sale for a few days before I return it. I would take a little less than what I paid and the shipping would be a lot faster in the US than if you were to order directly from them- and I would be willing to ship worldwide. If you've been thinking about this bra, this might be a way for you to get a deal on it!
I'll post pictures and measurements with a listing later tonight. It is a pale green unlined bra in 28D but I'd say it fits more like a 30DD. The band fits loose/stretchy and I was able to fasten it on the tightest hooks on my 27" ribcage. The cups are narrow, deep, and projected- about 8.5" deep and 4.5" wide. Does this sound like a bra you might like? It is really beautiful, too.

Also, what is the actual deal with manufacturers making these ridiculous cups in this size? I feel like I'm to blame for ordering a bra from a brand that specializes in "fuller bust" sizes when I am definitely more petite than full-figured. But... do sizes mean literally nothing? I cannot imagine this bra fitting anyone who believes that they can wear a 28D. I am considering what to mention in my email to them if there are no takers and I have to return this.
I find that unpadded/non-foam bras are hard to come by in my size range, and when I do find them, they are cut ridiculously deep. Sigh.

Bra frustration + some of my refunds from other returns being posts to my account = extreme bra shopping, apparently. ;)
Hi runs_with_scissors! I think we spoke on another thread about this bra before you bought it - I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you.
Sounds like your take on it was exactly as mine was (big and stretchy band, narrow and deep cups), makes me feel reassured after hearing literally everyone else say the opposite about Tutti Rouge (tight band, wide shallow cups) after trying one bra from them and extrapolating to all their models. I did start doubting my take on it at one point as so few people seemed to have tried it especially in smaller band/cup size range. But it's a shame it ended in disappointment for you. I too am considering selling my Nichole as I just don't wear it as the fit is not good for me at all...
Have you tried Claudette Dessous? Now that is a bra for people with boobs like us! (although actually I've realised recently it's not as good for me as I thought due to it's v.short wires - I need long wires, but if short is fine for you then this bra should be a winner for you!)
