Updates on updates! and rant.
I obviously didn't have a chance to update measurements and photos yesterday.
To be honest, I've been having a lot of issues at home. I forgot Thursday was my mom's day off, and I can't stay in the house when she's off.
My mom has narcissistic personality disorder, and she uses me for supply.
Like legitimately has it. Most NPDs don't see therapists, so this is confirmed by my therapist.
I have my own issues that I'm in some major therapy for, so I don't let myself stay and endure her abuse when she's home anymore.
I'm looking for work to move out, but it's difficult because I left my longest job due to "medical reasons"(I actually developed C-PTSD and was working with my abuser and don't know whether it's appropriate to get into all that with potential employers. There's a lot of misunderstandings surrounding that diagnosis, especially when it isn't combat related) and I didn't have funds to keep affording college, so I have nothing to go off of.
I've been informed that all of my references aren't able to be contacted (due to managers getting fired, moving onto new places, or retiring). Who do you list when they ask for a manager that has gotten fired or retired because it was so long ago?? o_o
I was working at Amazon in the winter, but for some reason employers don't seem to care that I was able to stay and make 2nd in quota every night during Christmas.
I'm super confused why I can't get anything.
Right now I'm doing Ebay to do bras and take care of myself, and going through temp agencies, but still nothing has come up for me.
But basically, Thursday was probably a bad day to plan on staying home all day and updating here.
Anyway enough explanation. Today is a gorgeous day and my mom ISN'T home.
I've already started with photos because that's the most time consuming, and then I'll have measurements.
Sorry in advance for photo quality. Whenever I get work I'll eventually purchase a laptop and be able to use my actual camera.
That's not all that important though.
I just love helping this community out. I get depressed and disappear from everything once in a while, but this still means a lot to me.
The internet is also like one big, mind numbing sh*t hole- until you go to ABTF or here where everyone is super nice haha.
It's such a great resource and I'm happy to help and contribute in any way

Just got a text that my mom will be home shortly, so I'm getting ready to go out.
If I come back later, I might do some more measurements but no more photos until Monday :[

Big hug from Pennsylvania from me! I've been people's "therapists" before and it can get really stressful, especially when you're struggling yourself. If you need anyone to vent to, you know who's got your back!
Odd suggestion, but I actually found my most recent job from Craigslist as a groomer and it's worked out really well. Sites like indeed and monster didn't help me on my job hunt. : (

Yeah, I've gone to 3 agencies, applied all around, and am on both Indeed and Monster. They're definitely not working.
I'm glad to know you had some luck on Craigslist. I'm from PA as well, so maybe I'll have some luck also.
I'll be checking that out for sure!
