Bravangelizing my Momma
I LOVE my mom. I am a very lucky person to have had such a great mother. I have been slowly mentioning things about bra fit for the past year, and today, she finally caved and we did a few measurements (over her bra, granted, because it was easier/more comfortable that way). I did notice a few issues with her bra, which was a 42D - the bra was not lifting her at all or shaping her. She had the east-west look, which she did not like. The cup was coming up into her armpits, which she did not like and I lamented because I have the same issues in many bras. I talked to her about a few things and we determined that she has short roots and heavy center fullness (like me!). This makes me think that my mom will probably fit in many bras that I do, but the sizing is very different. Here are the few measurements I got:
Snug band: 37.25 inches
BTT band: 36 inches
Overbust: 48 inches
And here, she was wearing a 42D! With a little math, it seems that my mom is either a 38GG or a 36H - it's honestly hard to tell because the bra size charts I find all vary. Please help me out! What do you think her size should be? She's very open to the idea of ordering bras off amazon to try them and return them, and I suspect she should fit in many cuts I do. But she's a 52 year old woman and she is not going to want the looks of most Cleo bras, which often look too young for even me. So...
What sizes should my mom try?

what about elomi? Someone recently posted one that was aimed at petite women and worked really well for her short roots.

Elomi Etta. I'd start her in a 38 band, too. I'm currently going through this process with MY mom, who's roughly a 34FF-36F wearing 38C's, and just begged her (again) to order both the Elomi Etta and Caitlyn from Amazon.
