How low should longlines actually sit?

I've noticed when I put longlines on, they seem lower on my back than a regular bra. The bands are all super snug on me. Is this normal? Anyone have any techniques to put longlines on that gets then up higher?

  • That's an interesting question. From my understanding, longlines should sit with the wires under your IFM fold like any other bra.

If you feel the wires are sitting too low, maybe you can submit a fit request and have some of the experts here help you figure out what is causing this.

Perhaps the cups are too shallow or the band might be too snug--both of these can cause bras to slide down. You could try it with an extender and if the gore no longer sits flush or the back is beginning to ride up, it's an indication that the cup is too small.
