Just a rant. I recently lost a a few pounds. While I am finally starting to be comfortable with my body, waist-down, for the first time in 10+ years, I also lost some breast volume. My already large asymmetry has become even more pronounced, and all my bras fit wonky (er, well, don't actually "fit" or "fit" less than before), and any happiness I've had from the rest of my body has been negated by my breasts. I'm kinda taken aback at just how much this has been affecting me. It's to the point where I feel miserable putting on a bra, looking in the mirror, or just thinking about it.
Other than occasionally hating everything because of my asymmetry and issues that come with it, I had been pretty content with my breasts, while being unhappy with my body. Now it's the reverse and it really, really sucks—worse than before. :(

  • Body positivity!
It can be really hard to maintain a healthy body image when our body changes. Maybe try saying neutral or positive things about the top half of your body in the mirror each day, or at least any time you want to say something negative.
I have an extreme pear shape and sometimes struggle with my scrawny upper body (less scrawny with more weight gain though...) but I equally struggle with my bottom half for opposite reasons. I personally try to bulk my upset half and tone my half to even out when I work out, maybe you could look into that? Nothing is guaranteed to make you feel better, but remember: you are beautiful no matter what! Trying to find a way to see that for yourself is ask you can do!

  • Owww, I feel your pain! Bodies, right, impossible to live without, but difficult to love sometimes. Just give yourself some time to adjust to your new shape. From my own experience, sometimes after losing weight it takes your body a while to tighten back up. My boobs have felt a bit saggy and empty when I lost weight, but that usually sorted itself out over time.

Another tip: treat yourself to a new bra in your new size, when you have the chance. You lost some weight, which you mostly like, and that probably took some hard work. That deserves a celebration, right!
