I have probably tried on every bra at Lord & Taylor and Macys and I can't seem to find any that fit me comfortably.

My problem is that most, if not all, bra straps rub into my armpits and it really hurts! I have a very active job that requires me to move a lot and I can't have straps digging into my armpits. The best bra I've found (and it's not great) has been the 32D - Natori ยป Understated Contour Underwire Bra (132025) , and I'm not even really crazy about it. Now it's coming apart because it has one hook on the back!

I started trying bras in 34C to see if that helped, and it was a bit more comfortable but I'm still having uncomfortable rubbing. I am pretty sure I've tried on every bra at Lord & Taylor multiple times, and I've cleared out Macy's. I need a padded bra but I like a softer cup, not push-up.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do and what bra to look for?!

  • Yep, first things first, forget about Lord & Taylor and Macy's. I'm not even a super crazy size and there are maybe 3 underwire bras available at Macy's that would actually work for me. Do a fit request here and people can offer suggestions on what to try and where to find it.

  • yeah, if you want help you kinda need to show us how it fits, and your measurements as this site requests, and the measurements of the bras. and to start with - you should find the band size that fits you and stick with it. and then you find cup size and brand/shape that works
