Ewa Michalak Sizing/Styles

First off, if I am a 28F (UK) and need a smaller band, should I just sister size to a 55FF/50G for EM?

Ok, this is where I really get confused, using the style descriptions that Bratabase provides:
There are the MP, PL and 3D, they are all padded plunges and come in my size. What is the difference/(dis)advantages to them?
I thought halfcups and balconettes were the same, but in the descriptions it seems as though they are not. What is the difference between these two?

Edit: Oh wait, does balcony = balconette?

  • You might want to look at EM's website first - they stopped making anything smaller than a 65, I think, except custom order - which some ppl have had bad experience with. Plus, a 28 would be a 60 anyways. They dont do a straight conversion.

Half cups shouldnt come up as far as balconettes, and plunges have lower gores than balconettes. I think.

  • 3D is the plunge style designed for smaller breasts. It will only go up to an F cup and the bands run quite tight. If you're on the larger side of the range or are not petite you might not enjoy it.

PL is the classic Ewa Michalak padded plunge that's available in every size. Although again the 55 band would be custom. It's sort of similar to the Comexim plunge, but the padding is a bit thicker and the shape is a bit more rounded. I've heard the wires a bit wider too.

I don't know anything about the MP at all. Hope that helped at least a little bit!
