Why cant they advertise honestly?

Why is it we have to come hear and measure and discuss to know which bras fit well on wide-set or shallow or tall or projected or narrow boobs? Why cant they describe them that way in the marketing materials?

  • Since VS seems to be the most successful brand out there, there's your answer.

Given how many poorly fitting bras are bought (and kept), there isn't much incentive to improve the likelihood of proper fit. Whoever does it first will lose market share unless/until it catches on.

I didn't I was narrow/short/projected till I came here. The most vicious, pit stabbing bra I ever owned was one I bought online because because Oprah recommended it (and I didn't return it). Even the recommendations calculator on this site is pretty much a joke for me. (30DD? Really?)

(Honestly, this is a fabulous opportunity for a company like Comexim to address their sizing issues and become a leader in education and proper fit.)

  • I actually tried to buy an oprah-recommended bra once. Either they didnt have my size (back when I thought I was a G or something) or i ordered it and it didnt fit. it was years and years ago, and I quit trying for at least 4 years after that.

its true, tho, not many ppl would understand it.

i did randomly run in to another bratabase user on FB the other day, tho, when someone posted something about aeri or something? using un-photoshopped pics for their lingerie ads, and that was cool - but then I complained about them being no better than VS at making girls w small ribcages and big boobs hate their bodies - and someone popped up and agreed w me and when she mentioned poland lol I knew she had to be from here!
