Btw, they gave me a shipping number. Is that just a shipping confirmation or can I use it to track the package?

It's a tracking number. Google search for Polish tracking, & plug the number in. It'll tell you where it is in Poland. Once it says "shipment sent from Poland," it's left Poland. Then you can use USPS. It will say "origin post is preparing shipment" for a couple of days. Then "processed through ISC sort facility" for 2-3 days. Then it'll get to a post office on the east coast, probably NY, Jersey, or NH, then it will head your way.
So you are saying that its only about a week to get from Poland to the east coast? My EM package left Warsaw yesterday and showed up as "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" some time this afternoon in the USPS. I cant remember how long it took last time - but I'm in VA, last time it was only 2 days from hitting RI to my mailbox!
