Apparently, I like plunge bras. As in, I was going through my bras, entering the ones I still wear and and dumping the ancient/destroyed/etc ones, and realized plunges are the majority. The rest are 3 super low gore sports bras (that I probably entered incorrectly). It's probably because I'm super lazy and like cleavage, regardless if anyone else can see it or not. (Obligatory pause to look down, lol)
Anyway, to my question: Where, in the name of all that is busty, are you supposed to measure the horizontal depth of a plunge? Half the time I'm measuring the curve from the lateral wire to where the medial wire would be if it was full coverage. But that's not technically correct. Neither is deepening the straight line between wires, because that doesn't include the deepest part. And if you do, then it's no longer a horizontal curve, but also a vertical one.
Any advice?

I thought you had to measure from the top of the outer cup to the top of the gore - but find the deepest path for the tape measure. You know, like the globe, straight across isnt the most direct route or something? idk
Actually, that makes sense. For some reason I didn't even consider moving the wing end instead of the gore end. Thanks!
