So I picked up a Fauve Dali Padded Half Cup (0231) in 32C and it's B E A U T I F U L but yowza is the band big! At two sister sizes away, I knew it would be too big, but I hoped that I'd be able to get a couple days wear at the tightest hooks, but nope. I barely need to stretch it just to hook it on the tightest hooks. The other hooks make the entire bra just sit around me. (How did I manage to wear 34 bands way back when?)
My preferred alteration of just sewing elastic onto the band isn't going to cut it at all. I'm thinking I'll fold it over, but whether to fold it at the hooks or between the straps and cups is what I'm pondering. I'm favoring by the hooks at the moment, because I don't want to make the strap placement wider, but folding it between the straps and cups makes a little more sense and it'll look a little neater.
In any case, I'll measure and enter it before I alter it, so I'll take a day or two just to moon over the beautiful olive green color.
