I skipped to the mailbox to find a pretty purple bag containing my two new bras. 34GG and 34H Jasmine by Panache!
I will take measurements within the next 36 hours, but I have a couple of questions.
Both the 34GG and 34H fit me very well, with the exception of being able to put both on the third row of hooks. Not especially easily, but it could be done. The first hook was definitely too loose as the bras were able to shift, so I jumped to the third hook (with some effort for the 34GG). Straps were fully adjusted for 34H and 34GG.
**So question number one is: should I go down to 32 band?
I believe the only reason the 34GG fit so well is because of the lace. Had it been a bra with a firmer line up there, I would have been in quadboob city. Well at least with my bigger boob. It's super comfy and feels sturdy.
The 34H left a teensy bit of wrinkling in the smaller boob's cup and required that I fully adjust the straps so that the straps could actually do a little work in providing lift. Upon further investigation there is slight gaping at the top of the cups (becomes more prominent with movement) and the wires poke under my arms especially with typing. I also would like the straps tighter cause there is actually some collapsing in the bottom of the cup, especially in the smaller boob cup which is remedied when I pull up on the strap.
That said, I believe that in this bra both of my girls would be best fitted in a bra between a GG and H. This isn't very noticeable due to the lace. It isn't noticeable at all, really. The major differences are 1. the shape (a bit more preferred in the H) and 2. my nipple placement (lower in H, but on seam of lace in GG).
**Since I do believe I should go down a band, question two is should I go to 32GG or 32H?
Here's what I think:
Since the cup is a teensy bit small for my bigger boob and my nipples sit a bit higher in for both in the 34GG, a 32GG would give me less volume in the cup than I need.
Verdict: No to the 32GG.
32H should actually be equivalent to the 34GG, but with an appropriately sized band and probably a *little* more room in the cup. I think this would give me the best fit, though I run the risk of getting the exact same fit as the 34GG which in reality is a teensy bit small (even if un-noticeably so).
Verdict: 32H Definitely worth a try.
32HH is also an option as it should be the equivalent to the 34H, but as I mentioned there is a bit more room in the cup than I actually need for the smaller boob and that is with the straps fully adjusted, leaving no room for stretch in the future. The larger boob is more at home.
Verdict: 32HH Maybe, but what about when the straps stretch (I could modify the bra)? I also fear that the cup will prove too big.
**My last question that would clear a lot of confusion for me is- Does Panache (Jasmine specifically!) have sister sizing that is exactly equivalent? Or do the cups come up larger/smaller than its smaller-banded sister size?
My plan for now: Keep the 34GG and return the 34H for a 32H.
Any thoughts?

Jasmine Brahopper Related to stretchiness of band in Jasmine - I recently purchased jasmine in 30E and 30F - so not sure how relevant this is to your size, but - I've decided to keep both - the 30F fits during regular times and PMS, but am keeping the E in case I lose my winter insulation.... After 1st day really thought I needed an extender, but after a wears and wash, completely comfortable on loosest hooks - so without seeing your measurements, and if a 34 is stretchier than a 30, I would suggest you go to the 32 band....
