Talk to me about Fantasie

So, just how stretchy are their 30 bands? I've tried 2 Fantasie bras, many moons ago before I knew anything about my actual shape - the Rebecca and the smoothing strapless. Both were 30 bands hooked on the tightest hooks with some room to spare :( And I thought the cups ran really big, the strapless was a 30F and was giant on me, and the Rebecca was a 30E and small but not all that much too small. I'm typically a 28G.

They have some gorgeous bras. The Susanna, Jacqueline, and Mae side support styles come to mind. How's the wire width and projection relative to other brand unlined balconettes? And are the Mae and Jacqueline discontinued already? I thought they were brand new styles. I'm mostly interested in the Mae, oh goodness it's gorgeous. And $84. And only one 30F left in stock on Amazon, and it ships from HerRoom. No thanks, not a fan of that place and omg that's expensive. I can't find it anywhere else really, and I'm pretty sure it was new as of SS2015. I'm surprised it's gone already because it's so pretty.

  • So, I have a Susanna Basque. It's a little wider than I like, about 5.5" for a 30F but the projection is good. Lots of depth in the bottom.
The band feels okay, I've not worn it beyond photos and it's a Basque so more supportive anyway. I think the cups are decent though, you can see the fit here http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dls72/

  • Oh wow, that's gorgeous on you! And measures a lot wider and deeper than I'd think a typical 30F would.
