Finally my Wellfitting nightmare is over...

I shared to you guys a while ago that I had sent a return back to Wellfitting and never heard a peep from them. Someone suggested that I try to get ahold of them as soon as possible so I emailed their customer service and... heard nothing. After another week I emailed them again. Still nothing. A few days later I was pretty convinced that they just ignore or don't check their emails, so I filed a paypal claim against them.

Only then did I get contact from a real person. She was very apologetic but tried to talk me into still going thru with the exchange even tho I'd said in my email and the paypal message that I now just wanted my money back. As a peace offering she gave me a 5% off code.... yes, only five percent. I wasn't rude but I didn't let her push me into something I didn't want and I reiterated that I no longer wanted the exchange and just wanted my money back.

Finally I have my refund but it never should have taken me going to the level of a paypal claim just to get ahold of their customer service... and they talk about how 'easy' their returns are but how is it easy if you never get updates and can't reach anyone to ask about your order? I'm only a very small online seller but I take my customer service a lot more seriously than that and I make sure the customer is updated every step of the way so they're never left wondering where their order is or what's happened to it... I would never just ignore a customer for 3 weeks or not check my email.

I would only recommend ordering from them if you really feel you must and you know exactly what size you need. I try to be pretty understanding of sellers having technical issues and I understand that shit happens, etc. But to be a bona fide company and have no customer service... that's just ridiculous.

  • Im sorry you had such an awful experience! :( It is really ridiculous how little they put into customer service. I honestly dont even know how they are still in business! Ive had more than one messy situation with them and i absolutely despise them. I dont recommend to anyone.

  • I guess they stay afloat by the people who order and don't have to return. If that was my case I would have had a very good experience with them. It just seems that in this internet age it's so easy to stay in touch with your customers, but it's like they actively avoid doing it and they must know it's losing them business... I don't understand.
