My friend's bra Pt. 2

Note: This is a continuation of this story http://www.bratabase.com/profile/4qo/adventures/945/#adventure-comment-7614

So this morning (well it's still morning here) first thing I did was meet her to fit the bra.

I told her, "you might be able to fit this bra over your head, but please don't freak out." Naturally she did. "It's biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig are you sure this will fit me?" "Well put it on and see!"

Of course it's too big.

We (I) overestimated her cupsize. We (she) mismeasured herself. We (I) measured her again. Good thing I remembered to bring my measuring tape with me when I left the house.

Initial measurement from her:
Standing: 44"
Leaning: 50"
Lying on back: 45.8"
Average: 46.6"
UB snug: 34"
UB supertight: 32"

New measurement from me:
Standing: 42"
Leaning: 45" (I was nagging her how the heck did she end up with 50" blahblahblah)
Lying on back: 41"
Average: 42.6"
UB snug: 32"
UB supertight: 30"

So that makes her a 30HH/32H. She's definitely a full-on-bottom. Her naked breasts are tiny bit east-west looking. Her root is not that wide, but not too narrow, either. It's somewhere in the middle of her side. I also think she has shallow breasts, comparing 30HH/32H pictures I can find here with her breasts, hers look smaller in comparison.

The 32K Panache Harmony was like an Olympic swimming pool for her 32H breasts. Haha. The underwire on the side reaches her back. It wrapped her back, even.

So that was an epic failure. At least we managed to narrow down her proper size (and I saw a sign of relief that her size is not that big of a letter in the alphabet. Tips for anyone who wants to fit their friend: Buy a too large bra for their size, and then go down to their proper size. They will feel, "Yeay! It's not that big!". Reverse psychology, I'm telling you. :P)

Any advice for my next bra-hunt for her new size? Should I go down to 30H/32GG since her breasts are shallow? What bra is good for full on bottom breasts? Reading Venusian Glow's recommendation, I will still buy Panache Harmony.

So for now I have a spanking NWT 32K Panache Harmony in black for sale. I'm selling it for 20USD, worldwide shipping included. Any taker? :)

  • So far only my 32G Fantasie Elodie or Lizbeth fits my full on bottom boobs without and wrinkling in breast tissue. Cleo Lucy in 32G is close but I do wrinkle, so I would probably go up to 32H in that for me. Might work for her too (those are UK sizes). In Fantasie 3-part or 4-part cups I would try 32H as she seems to have a larger bust but smaller underbust (not by much, but enough that 32 Fantasie band would seem snug even though a 30 might be perfect).

Oops--Chantelle 32H also works even though I get some orange in a glass. I'm kinda narrow, but not too much, so similar I think.

  • Your friend's measurements are very close to mine! Differences: my leaning over measurement is 46" and my laying down number is 43". My best fitting bras are the Panache Jasmine 32HH, Fantasie Tina 32HH, and Fantasie Marie 34H. They fit well, are comfortable, and they give me a nice forward, projection.
