Bravissimo Response to Discontinued Sizes

Well, I haven't imagined it. I received an email from Bravissimo and they said that the bulk of their sales have been in the 32-34 F-H range. Therefore, they have indeed dropped the "peripheral sizes" including my beloved 28D/DD & 30C/D -- even when the manufacturers offer them.
However, the rep did say that if they received enough requests to bring them back, it would be a consideration. So hit 'em hard, my small band friends!! Let them know if you want these sizes offered! The address is customer.services at bravissimo.com.

Bravissimo was one of the last options for me.... There's still Figleaves, Brastop, and (sometimes) Herroom, but I'm worried. Panache has recently dropped 28D/DD and 30C from some popular models (like the Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) ). If we don't somehow make our voices (and wallets!) heard, our sizes may disappear altogether.

  • It's pretty awful how small band medium cup (28C-30E) are one of the most neglected size ranges. Brands like TLBC and Lula Lu cater to 26AA-32B while full bust brands typically start at 28D but are not contructed well in the 28D-30E range. Curvy Kate even said that their core range was 32DD-36GG, which is a tacit admission that they don't focus as much on the smaller sizes.

If I were to start my own lingerie brand, I would focus only on the neglected size ranges. Either sizes that are almost never made or sizes that are not well made. I would start with 28C-30E, and then maybe branch out to GG+ cups in all band sizes.

  • This is very said news indeed :(
