Breaking up is hard to do ...

Dear 30FF - Freya » Flourish Padded Longline Bra (1543) ,

We need to talk. You know how I feel about you. You’re my go to everyday bra. When I wear you, I feel like I’m not even wearing a bra. Crazy, right? I know! But, you’re great for so many reasons. You look fantastic under almost anything I throw on top of you. You give me a rounded shape without too much projection when I’m at work. You have just enough foam padding to hide the pokey guys when I’m cold. I know I usually take your sister Deco out on the town, but you’re my rock; my happy place. That being said, I think we need to take a break every couple weeks. You see, I have PMS boobs and your slightly narrow wires (which don’t normally bug my non-PMS boobs) are beginning to show their ill fit. Yes, dear, I know, you have soft-ish wires. That’s one of the reasons we’ve gotten along so well coupled with the fact that you’re pretty open and forgiving on top. That being said, I’m going to start seeing other bras for 1.5 weeks each month.

I want you to know there are many others like me who go through the same painful (hah) realization with their favourite bras. But nothing’s changed between us. I’ll always come back to you.

Love,
Gemmy

Edit: I have this song stuck in my head now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbad22CKlB4. Ironically, leading up to the video, I was forced to watch was a commercial for Victoria's Secret--a brand I had no problem breaking up with many, many years ago.

  • You're not breaking up, you're proposing an open relationship! Lol
