Yes, more Comexim questions...

I want to try ordering direct to save a bit of cash, but I need a lot of alterations that I can't find in any Polish guide. If I write my order comments in English, will they figure it out? If not, would anyone mind helping me with the translations? :)

Also, a few questions about the different cuts. I love how my 60J Joy longline fits me, apart from the band being too big and the wires being slightly too wide. Are all Comexim "half cups" cut like the Joy? I have an Irish Coffee as well that I asked to be made as a reduced half cup, but the cut is completely different than the Joy, and I think it might have actually been made as a reduced plunge. :/ So confusing! I wish they would just let you select alterations on the website like Anna Pardal does.

And regarding longlines: I hear they will turn any bra into a longline for a small additional cost. Has anyone done this? Is the band super stretchy like Joy's is?

  • As long as you keep your requests pretty basic, English is fine. I'm not much help with the halfcup situation since I've only ever owned a Joy that didn't fit so hopefully someone else can chime in on that. I think they only make Irish Coffees as plunges hence why you got it that way. And they can make any bra long line for 20PLN. PetiteCollegiate has done it and blogged about it here:https://thepetitecollegiate.wordpress.com/2015/08/19/comexim-mystic-plunge-longline-sexy-modern-chic/

  • Comexim has two different half cup cuts: a lower coverage single seam one (that I've just reviewed) and a more projected (but wider) one with 2 seams. To order a longline you just ask them if the bra can be made that way through email. The band stretchiness will depend on the stretchiness of the model you choose. I'm about to review a Poison Iby Longline as well. I use English when communicating with Comexim because they always write me in English. You can also send fit pictures and measurements to Anna and she can come up with custom solutions for you :)
