Ewa "S" Bras

Has anyone else noticed that within the S style bra, there are different fits and shapes? I know the cut is supposed to be the same on all of them, but I've found distinct differences in cup depth/projection, and shape.

I've noticed the 65G - Ewa Michalak » S Rarytas (595) and the Ewa Michalak S Prohibicja (629) are both very similar in shape and fit. They give a slightly more rounded shape, they seem slightly more open in the front, and the cup depth is perfect for me. I'm really liking this shape and these bras, but both are discontinued. I want more, so I'm wondering if anyone who has one (or both) of these knows of any other S bras that have this more rounded shape? (Hopefully someone else knows what I'm talking about!)

By the way, if anyone has a 65G Rarytas or Prohibicja that they don't want, give me a shout! :)

  • I know exactly what you're talking about. I've had some S bras that give a rounded shape while others give a pointy shape that is almost shallow at the bottom because of the extreme uplift. All of the ones I currently have are discontinued as well, but maybe someone else will chime in on the ones available now. I did at one point have 70J - Ewa Michalak » S Kicia Szałowa (635), which was super pointy and tall. I guess that's a current one to avoid if you don't want that shape.

Disclaimer for anyone reading this: it just seems to be an issue with 3-part cups. Sizes with 4-part cups seem to make a more consistent round shape (which makes total sense since more parts = greater chance at roundness). My sizes (70J/70JJ) are right where the cups change from 3-part to 4-part, so I thought I'd mention the difference since I've experienced it myself.

  • Yes exactly! I had a 65G - Ewa Michalak » S Kicia Szałowa (635) and it was so pointy and projected that I only wore it about 10 minutes and had to re-home it. I need projection, but not THAT much, haha! Interesting that you had the same experience with that one. That leads me to believe that it likely is model specific across all the sizes, rather than random luck from bra to bra within a specific model. Ewa should split the S style into some subgroups like S Pointy, S Round, and maybe S Shallow. LOL. I've had at least two (the Bambino being one) that were too shallow and rode down on me because of it.

Anyone else know what we're talking about? I'd love to know if any current S styles are the rounded type! Or at least which ones are *not* the super pointy type.
