So I did my very first bra exchange with erispe on Friday, and I'm excited, but nervous. I understand that Bratabase will reimburse the cost of shipping for exchanges, but I'm not exactly sure why or how (in the "where is the funding coming from" kind of way). And I wouldn't normally be too paranoid, except for the fact that I needed assistance at the post office, and the worker who helped me got my number off of my package and texted me later, to see if I "want to chat". That freaked me out. A lot.

  • You must have made an impression on the postal worker. :) Maybe there's nothing to worry about - can mean that this person genuinely likes you and took a bold step, but one needs to be cautious. BTW, was the chat about bras??? lol

  • From my understanding, shipping for giveaways and exchanges are covered by the admin out of pocket. There's no catch, really, and I suppose it's to encourage users to add bra data to benefit the site.

As for the second part about the postal worker using the phone number you left on the package to contact you personally, that sounds all sorts of intrusive and wrong. It's an invasion of privacy that shouldn't happen under any circumstances. If you are not interested but continue to get harassed, you should definitely file a complaint against that person.
