Interesting thing I noticed

Worn out bands cause ‘back fat’. What I mean is, I noticed that the mesh part of my parfait bra is completely worn out, so the only part that’s taut on my body is the elastic parts. Elastic always puts indentation on your body, that’s just the nature of it, but when the band is new, the mesh or fabric part acts as a wide elastic and puts an indentation on your body as well, but over a wider area, so it gives a smoother silhouette. When it’s worn out, it’s not taut, hence, ‘back fat’.

I think this is why Cleo has changed the bands from mesh to the spandex material, as I think the spandex material is less likely to wear out as easily.

That being said, I’m looking forward to getting new bras finally! It’s been a long time, but now I can really justify the purchase. Looking into getting the Cleo Hettie and Curvy Kate Smoothie.

  • yes, i know what u mean :)
i look for bras that have super firm band fabric because i worry about that all the time. i hate those super thin and stretchy stuff.
