Interesting news about the new bulletproof bras that german police women will be wearing.

The title is quite misleading though. When I heard of a bullerproof bra, I imagined a piece of metal shaped like a pair of boobs for women to wear on their chests when this is not the case according to the BBC article the thought behind the bulletproof bra was that receiving a shot in a regular bulletproof vest may put pressure on plastic parts of the bra and injuring the wearer.

To help this, the new bra is pretty much like a sportsbra with a cool elastice band that says "police", making sure there are not hard materials like wires, clasps and such that may cause injury.

Still, if it is not really a bra that will stop bullets, it is a good step forward to let the world know that women have breasts and we can't go on much longer acting as if they didn't exist .

Now, let's wait for those busty policewomen that can't find a bulletproof bra in their size
