I will write a blog post on this one day soon but for now I wanted to enter the relevant information on here before I sent the bra back.
So I guess that last statement says it all - I am sending the bra back! I had very high hopes for this bra after a fellow blogger whose size is not entirely dissimilar to mine said it was the best non-wired bra she'd tried. However, my issue is that it does not come large enough in the cups for me, sadly. I wear a H/HH/J in regular wired bras and know from previous trying on experience that I need to go up at least one or two cup sizes in order to get a good fit in non-wired bras.
This one was very pretty indeed and the fabric was gorgeously soft. But the cups squashed my boobs to the sides (I should have known this as all Panache bras do this to me) and cut into them and flattened them at the front. You can see from the pics - particularly the one looking down - that the bra gives me a most bizarre shape.
If it wasn't for this, I would definitely have kept it. The lace was not itchy at all and the straps and band were really comfortable.
In an ideal world I would have this bra in a 30 or 32 K, or perhaps J cups that actually ARE J cups. This 34J had lots of room in the 'cups' (as much as there are cups in a non-wired bra) at the sides so I think perhaps it is the cut and shape of this bra which are wrong for me, as opposed to the size.
I would recommend this bra to a friend but I would suggest trying on several different sizes in a store instead of doing what I did and ordering it online and wasting money on postage (grr). Either that or find a retailer with free postage and returns so you can order lots of different sizes for fit options and then return them all and buy on another site where it's cheaper https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
Maybe I should try a Triumph Doreen instead - it is the world's best-selling bra, after all!
