Didn't fit

The Melody Balconette is a good bra that I had fitted for me. I find that the band can feel a bit too firm (regardless of hook setting). That said, it's the only size 28 bra I own - even though this is my "correct" size, I usually prefer the feel of a stretchy, snug size 30 band.

So a big part of my "too firm" feeling towards this bra is probably personal taste. I think it is true to size.

The lace at the top of the cup doesn't stretch at all. I have very soft and fleshy breasts at the center of my chest (result of sudden weight loss + natural shape I think!) and to fit my breast tissue evenly into the cup my nipple sits a bit lower than the seam join. I think this is the design of the cup - visually the lace section is a bit shorter than the lower section. But it bugs me.

If I place my nipple at the seam junction where it meets the lace I don't fill out the bottom center of the bra cup and I push against the top of the cup.

This bra is very comfortable and technically it was given the tick of approval when many other styles weren't good for me. And I like it, but I don't love it. Maybe it's the look of it on... I don't think it does anything for me.

*Update*
Having taken photos of me wearing this bra and a bunch of newer bras that I was fitted for I find that the Melody's underwires are too far apart for me and the underwires travel to far to the back. That said, this is very comfortable to wear.

This bra is not owned any more
