The adorable pattern is just as cute in real life as it is in the photos. The underwire casing on the inside is the striped fabric, which I find charming. The padding isn't really, just a thin layer of thicker fabric to discourage nipple show-through. The fabric is smooth, not itchy, and dense enough to be supportive.
The shape I get is nice: adequate coverage, not too much cleavage. The cups might be too big, but I can't tell if going down a cup will help. The 28G balcony Mirage was definitely too small--quadraboob galore--so that's why I went up a cup with the sister size.
The band is slightly loose; I'd say about as tight as a regular 28 band Freya day bra. (The Mirage was possibly on the too-tight side, a rare occurrence.) I had an issue with the clasp popping open, but I think that's because I didn't fasten it fully. The mechanism is novel to my fingers.
Update: When I'm just a bit more bloated due to menstruation, the cups fit me perfectly. So, all I need to do is be bloated all the time, clearly.
