Didn't fit

UPDATE: After Strapgate (lol), I've come to the conclusion that this bra does NOT fit as intended. The cup is too large and isn't supposed to be as full coverage as it is on me. I'll probably still wear it with the straps "too tight" (as it's fairly comfortable and looks good under clothes), but it technically does not fit and is for someone with larger breasts than mine.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have . . . . difficult boobs. They are very soft tissue, FOB, absolutely empty on top, narrow root and somewhat close-set. My boobs invariably fall to the middle where a high gore pokes them and a low gore can't keep them contained in the cup. Balconettes are almost always too wide in the straps (narrow shoulders too, of course). They need to be lifted, but not too much (projection-wise) or they completely flatten out on top.

This bra AMAZINGLY fits all of these problems simultaneously. The gore is low, but the cups are designed in such a way as to catch the fullness (squashiness?) in the middle and keep it up and "in" (for lack of a better description). It also curves around over the top in such a way that it feels neither open nor closed (both of which are a problem with my breast shape) but I feel will work for a wide variety of breasts.

The band is firm but not crazy firm like the Ewa lace bands are and there are 4 pairs of hooks in case of stretch.

Additionally, I have pretty tender skin (the reason the Cleo Lucy (5851) didn't work for me is the scratchy fabric). The cups are lined in soft cotton and the straps and elastic were soft out of the box.

My two caveats are: 1) this fabric, while beautiful, is akin to a dotted swiss - meaning the pattern is raised and can be seen under a thin or tight shirt. I will be ordering several more in smooth fabric. 2) The straps are NOT fully adjustable. They work okay for me but I already have them pretty much all shortened up so if you need them shorter, you'll have to alter it.

This bra is not owned any more
