Didn't fit

I gambled on this bra on eBay since my Antionette 32H fits well in the band but is a cup size too small. This 32 is much tighter than the Antionette; I would need an extender. It probably is true to size (I measure 32-33.5 depending on the time of day and mood of the tape measure). The cups technically "fit" in that I couldn't go down a size, but the wires are so wide it borders on ridiculous.

I think this style is just not a good fit for my shape and I don't care for so much coverage. Otherwise, it would be a nice staple.

So, the good: The fabrics are pleasant in texture and appearance; the small greyish-blue flowers on the black base are cute & subtle. The straps are on the wide side but decorative, comfy & fully adjustable. The band has 3 hooks. I find the contrasting lace edgings along the outside of cups and bottom band to be attractive, but many people would be sensitive to the irritation they would cause. I think it would be smooth under even thin/close-fitting clothing.

The bad (for me): The lace upper panel in this size is no longer an accent; it becomes weight-bearing and is unwieldy to look at in the larger cup sizes. The wires are entirely too wide, unless perhaps, the wearer had very widely rooted or migrated boobs to reign in. The gore is very high - this is not a balcony by any definition I have. The stabilizing ribbon stitched along the tops of the cups would cut in to boobs that were fuller on top. The wire channels near the wings have about 3/4" more fabric than wire, which causes pulling at those spots and can result in premature wear. The too-short wire (or too tall wing) is a problem my Cleo's have, as well. It makes me wonder if they ran out of longer wires, or if it is intentional for some reason.

In summary: Not for me. Now I know.
