Hasn't set fit

This is a cheapo I bought in order to test recommendations that I try a bandless bra with a low or almost non-existent gore, which this has. Solved the problem which prompted the advice.

This bra is not owned any more

I think you mean a low gore. Or in this case an almost-nonexistent gore ;-)

  • Thanks Wendybien. Correction made.

  • So what do you think of the "bandless" feature? I have several bandless bras, and they work well for me, but I find banded bras to be more supportive, and more structurally sound. That small amount of connective material at the gore bothers me, just because of the amount of stress it has to endure to support my breast tissue and hold the cups together.

Are you asking me specifically? Well I don't think it's either good or bad, in the absolute. It's really about personal preference, body type, breast volume etc. etc.

Personally I hhhhhhate bandless because like you I find it less supportive, and since bands tend to creep down on me in many situations, that process is much less comfortable when there is no band.

My ideal comfort bra would have a nice wide underbust band of at least 1.5" of fabric just like the "golden oldies" of the bullet bra era and before! I find that soooo comfy.
