I think the black color way runs SLIGHTLY tight in the band, as the band on this feels too firm and I need an extender. However, the Marcie remains a classic for me (since I keep buying it...) and it gives a great shape. The only thing I would caution you on is the gore, which invariably hurts me.

  I just had to say THANK YOU for your review of the Marcie! It's a beautiful bra and I so wanted to try it, but after also reading on your blog about your shape.... I am very glad I didn't spend the money. We are basically opposites :(

• LOL well if you ever want to see other Marcie reviews, I have had approximately 30,000 Marcies! If you need some bras that I will tell you did NOT work for me, I would definitely suggest checking out the Claudette Dessous, which I want so badly but just never works on my shape!
