My first unlined Comexim! I was totally unsure of what size to order, so I took my usual padded plunge size at the suggestion of Joanna at Comexim. I didn't request any alterations, but much to the delight of my close-set boobs the bra arrived with an overlapping gore.
Let's start with the good:
-Angel is exceptionally comfortable and very lightweight feeling... totally the elusive "forget you're wearing it" kind of bra. I even fell asleep in it and woke up to no digging wires whatsoever, which is something I can't say even for my designated around-the-house comfort bras.
-It holds my boobs low and close to my chest in an unexpectedly round shape, very similar to the profile created by the Claudette Dessous.
-It's an excellent pale-person nude bra. Beneath a thin light colored tank top, it's pretty darn seamless, and only a small hint of the lighter scalloped lace edging is really detectable.
The not-so-good:
-The overall construction is not as fantastic as Ewa's unlined bras. The wires are super flexible and don't offer quite the same level of support and uplift. There's actually a decent amount of room for upper and center fullness, but the bendy wires prevent the gore from tacking firmly on me (though I experience this to some degree in their padded bras, too).
-I'm a huge fan of charms and embellishment on bras, but the acrylic crystal on the gore is a little cheaper looking in person.
-Unless I'm standing with my shoulders back, the lace gapes a little at the top. I'm positive I couldn't size down (the wires would be too narrow) but perhaps moving in the straps might have evened out the tension a little better.
Overall, not a terrible fit, and I think I'll hold on to it especially because it's so comfortable. I'm curious about trying Angel in an unlined 3HC, but may hold off until I can get a better understanding of what size to order!
