Didn't fit

I really wanted to love this bra. My usual size is 28E, but I had to downsize one cup size in this style, as the cups are at least 1-2 sizes too large. The problem with this is the opposite of what I had with the Freya 28E - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) . With the Deco, I had gaps on the top, with breast tissue spilling out the sides (a third of my boob!) whereas with the Porcelain I have quad-boob at the top, good coverage at the sides and wrinkling at the bottom of the cup, with pretty gnarly rib pain after a few hours of wear. I am slightly FOB, with shallow breasts, so this is a bit of a surprise!

As far as aestheics, the back and straps are great, the straps don't slide down of off my shoulders, but as a few people mentioned, they are far too short and uncomfortable to wear crossed at the back. The top of the cup is a bit too high for low cut tops as many have mentioned - at this size range, the breast really doesn't need that much coverage for support.

I am still looking for the perfect low profile no-nonsense bra, but it appears to be an ongoing quest https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

Update: after playing with the wires, the fit is much better! Only a small bottom gap and no rib pain or quadboob. I stretched out the wires wider and bent the wires from flat into contoured to fit around my ribcage, rather than press flat against it (no more bruises on the right side!). Huge improvement in both fit and comfort - it's gone from unacceptable into okay/workable, considering the seeming lack of alternatives.

Black, solid colorway
