It is easy to see why Fauve is beloved: the fabrics are exceptional. They are not soft like Anna Pardal, but seem more robust and tolerant of wear and tear. The green has hints of blue and contrasts well with the black embroidery. Despite the pattern, the texture is smooth and is it is not visible under most garments.

The band is both supportive and stretchy. Because I often prefer 28-29" bands, I expected to find this band unsupportive. Although I do use the tightest hook, this 30" band feels wonderful.

Because the straps are half adjustable, I used a Strap Saver to provide the lift I needed. Surprisingly, the depth and width work very well. I thought shortening the straps would be a perfect remedy. However, when the straps are short enough (thanks Strap Saver), the cup cuts into my underarm. And, the gore remains too wide for my very close set breasts.
