This is one of my first bra attempts in trying to find my best fit. Overall, it's my most comfortable bra I own at this point, but I can't say this is "it" yet. When I first got this, I realized that the 38 band was just way too tight, even on the loosest setting. I bought an Elomi Bjou Soree at the same time to try a plunge style. The Bjou was way more comfortable in the band even though they are supposedly the same size, so lesson learned there. I am able to wear this bra with an extender, giving me an extra inch till it stretches.
The gore was really tight against my sternum, till I added the extender, but even then, I'm very aware it's there when I stand up.
The cup is filled in from the bottom to about 2/3rd to the top. Then I have wrinkling fabric, but it's a heck of a lot better than my other purchases to date. I think I am FOT, because doing the lean over test, I've got a lot of volume above the midline. However, I am tall rooted with pendulous breasts, and very soft tissue. Overall, I have a rounded, slightly pointed look while wearing this, but at least I'm not going east/west. (Bjou, my gawd it's bad!)
The underwire was a big problem. The first day I wore it, which was without the extender, I had bruises where the wire stopped under my arms. The wire stops about an inch below where the cup fabric comes up to. Next time, I added the extender, which helped, except it still dug into my sides. I pulled out my older calcique bra for comparison, that never bothered me with that part of the underwire, and adjusted the underwire to a more U shape, and now the bra is mostly wearable for a day. I have to occasionally tweak the wires throughout the day. I hope this gets better. If I understand, Elomi has the longest wire lenths on the market in my size, so I can't imagine finding a bra that would have enough length to not squash migrated breast tissue, without having the actual cup be enormous on me. So, I've got as workable a fix as I can get right now.
Another odd thing is that I'm very aware of underarm sweat in this bra. The cup fabric is not breathable, as I end up shedding a bra that's sopping wet in that spot, at the of the day. I've never had that happen before in 26 years of wearing bras.
I know this seems all negative, but it's just my assessment of what's some issues of a doable bra, till I find "the one."
