Designed for someone with a mastectomy. Center gore is really off for me because of that.
- Center gore placement:
- Doesn't lie flat against sternum
- Cups separation:
- Too close together for my boobs

Didn't fit
I didn't realize this was a bra specifically designed for breast cancer surgery. I only realized that when I looked it up to add it here. It explains why it has a different fit from my other Cacique bras. It's a wire-free bra, but it is molded with deep cups.
I bought the bra at a Lane Bryant store about 4 months ago because I was having a lot of back pain and wanted a couple of no-wire bras. I bought this and the cooling no-wire bra. I don't wear this one as much because it's an odd shape. I think it's best for what it was designed for - someone who's had a mastectomy and needs something comfortable with no wires and a defined shape that allows for a silicone or other insert. Or someone that needs wire-free with deep cups and forward projection.
It gives a torpedo shape and when I lay down, the molded cup stays in place, even though my breasts move around and don't fill the cup anymore. For me, the gore doesn't rest against the sternum, but maybe it's not supposed to since it's no-wire? Or, maybe this is because it's designed for someone who's had a full or partial breast removed. There is almost NO separation between the cups. The center gore seam is about 1/4 of an inch. Because I have large, close-set breasts, they just push out the center gore because there is no wire to separate the breast tissue.
On the positive side, the bra is supportive and secure, so while I'm not fond of the way it looks under my clothes, I would say it's a good bra because it gives great support - without wires. If you've had surgery (or have boobs with different size cups) and you need a no-wire bra that can give you the illusion of equal-size on both sides, then this bra will do that.
