Didn't fit

Me: narrow roots, even to functionally FOB, a little center heavy, projected, pendulous, other adjectives

Tldr: projection and lots of it, at least a size big in band and possibly in cup, moderate wire hardness and length, fabric may bother some folks

This is my second try with this bra. Again, I want to note that the embroidery on the outside of the cup can be felt through to the inside of the cup, probably because it does not have a second layer of mesh lining. Imo, this is likely to bother anyone with sensitive skin or sensory issues. I found it to be a little scratchy, and I think it would soften up after a few washes.

This fits much better than a 34J. There's still some gaping at the top of the cups and the band runs big; after wearing it just a few times I can comfortably wear it on the tightest hooks. I might try it in a 32J just for science!, but with an underbust measurements of ~35", I can't see that ending well. Fwiw, I am conservative with my stretched band measurements.

Despite the loose band, there's still a TON of projection. I need lots of room at the wire and this bra has it. Thanks to the gore height, I don't spill out at the center either. The wires are a little wide and long so the gore is a softer tack, but the wires aren't pokey either. They aren't as hard as Panache, but not as soft as Curvy Kate. I would prefer them a little harder for fit, but honestly? Softer wires are kind of really comfortable.

The only real issue with this bra is the weird shape I get from the diagonal seam and/or the elastic lining at the top of the cup. I have other bras with this type of three part construction, but they don't have the elastic piece and DO have a second layer of mesh lining in the top of the cup, or solid laminate fabric (e.g. Panache Fern and Sculptresse Flirting). I'm not sure if this would work better for someone who is more FOT than I am or not - can anyone chime in? I do think that my soft tissue makes it a little more dramatic.

I've included a picture showing the bra underneath a thin t-shirt. I think the weird shape is still visible, but I'm looking for it. The good news is that underneath my heavy polyester blend work shirts + tank tops, it's not visible at all.

This bra has a lot of things I'm looking for: room at the wire, at least a 4” gore, and a full cup or balconette style I can rely on at work. I move around a lot, and I feel confident that my boobs will stay in place with this bra. Pour Moi? is one of the cheaper brands in this size range; given the sizing inconsistencies I can only recommend trying them from a retailer with a good return policy. I picked up this particular one from a eBay seller for ~$20. Thanks for reading!
