I love the color of this 'Heather'. It's neither purple or gray, but a combination of both. More like a muted lavender, so it is neutral enough to go with anything and yet still gives some interesting color. The fabric is absolutely amazing...SO soft. Even the lace. I do find the lace on the straps likes to fold over, probably because it is not under tension anywhere, except the length of the strap when it is stretched.
I like the cup width of this one (6"), but I find the underwire & band are not tall enough to control armpit fat. The band is also straight across in the back and is very snug on me, also accentuating back fat. A ballet style would fit much better.
The cup is on the shallow side at only 9" deep. Ironically it fits...until I swoop & scoop. Then it creates the quad effect, especially on my larger side. The gore is surprisingly comfortable. At 2" tall and 1" wide I was afraid it would cut into me, but somehow it doesn't. (I think 2" is about my limit if the gore is any wider than 3/4", but that all depends on the height.)
So maybe I'll check out the next band size? Or try the next cup size? It could be either...or neither!Heather colorway
