My shape: slightly wide, slightly tall roots with splayed shape, evenly full top and bottom, slightly center-full. close-set at the top. I need a fair amount of projection at the wire. My best fitting sizes are 34G/36FF in Panache.
The pricetag of 17 USD on Amazon had me curious to try this. It's not bad. The Delimira brand is part of La Isla and is made in China. It seems like this particular brand is focused on what are called "full-figure"and "plus-size" models.
First off, the sizing on this bra is some kind of variation of UK sizing that doesn't include double letters. The Amazon size chart is no help and the listing does not explain the sizing of this bra so I'll do that here:
C,D - same across all sizing systems
DD = UK DD, US DD, EU E
E = UK E, US DDD or F, EU F
F = UK F, US G, EU G
G = UK FF, US H, EU H
H = UK G, US I, EU I
Sizes range 34C-38H, 40C-G, 42C-F, and 44C-E. Amazon lists it as a "Full Coverage Non-Foam Floral Lace Plus Size Underwired Bra".
All materials are very soft and non-scratchy. The bottom of the cups has a cottony lining. The band is a single layer very stretchy shiny knit fabric with elastic top and bottom; fits me with room to spare. I can easily fasten on the middle hook but it will stay put on the loosest. It's nice that there are 3 hooks in this size and I think that helps the band feel secure even though it's stretchy.
The tops of the cups come up pretty high and I don't quite fill them. The straps are placed a little wider than I'd expect for a full coverage bra. I would size down but the cups are almost cutting in to my center fullness as it is. I think a size down would flatten me out on the top. I may try an alteration that will move the straps in a little and take up some of that top fullness if I can do it without making the tops of the cups cut in near the gore.
The wires are firm; not Panache-firm but sufficiently firm to hold against my sides and not distort. Their width is comfortable for me.
The shape is not stunning but it is somewhat supportive. I can wear it for many hours before feeling any discomfort at all. It's worth at least $17 and gives me another beige bra to put in the rotation.
