Didn't fit

I've heard great things about this bra. Learning that it is narrow and projected, something unusual for UK unlined bras, sounded like it could work for me. It looks very pretty as well with its sheerness, cute and gentle blush, and beautiful embroidery. I usually wear a 28F, but sized down to 28E in this one because I've heard it is very deep. Plus my super narrow roots was going to need the wire width of a 28E. The wire did fit somewhat perfectly at my IMF, and the depth was fine except a little too deep on my smaller breast. The gore height was also low for Freya's unlined plunge balcony, which is friendly for my super close-set breasts. Everything fits great on the wires and lower part, but the upper part (where the embroidery is) cuts into my tall roots, and flattens out what should've been a natural slope. My boobs looked like two cones on my chest with the upper tissue stemming from my chest in a sharp angle, from being completely flat to a sudden slope. It looked awful. I've read other reviews that says this bra is open on top for some, but for my tall roots and full-on-top breasts, it was not enough. Sadly I can't seem to find an unlined bra which is narrow, projected, open on top, and has a low gore. It's like all plunges will be closed on top. I believe it's some kind of physics. I'm disappointed this bra didn't work because of its wonderful quality and appearance.

Some of the Ewa Michalak 3DM plunges are narrow, projected, and open on top. I had success with Margot and Bezyk. Others were super closed on top though, so this cut is like playing the lottery. :/

  • bracrastination I've always been curious about Ewa Michalak, so I went to their website and searched for my size (60F). The only cut available is M, which according to their website means "Unpadded Small Plunge Bras in Magique cut", but it seems that all of them are lined. I also heard things about how they charge extra tax and PayPal fee, so I tried to buy something to see how much a bra actually costs, only to realise they don't even ship to my country. The whole thing is so messy, I don't know when I'll finally have the courage to buy from them!

kate166 Maybe try Comexim Donna? I have that in both 70E & 70F. And when I noticed I had some growth (in my shallow upper area), I was still able to wear the 70E, although it was technically too small (I didn't get any quadding)
The only thing is, I don't know if it'll be narrow enough for you.
For some reason Ewa's M bras are listed as being unpadded, but they're not.

  • Prettyncharmeuse It looks like it's been discontinued because I can't find it on their website :( I'm tempted to try Musetta, but I'm still confused about my size in Comexim (see my review on Ginger 3HC 60H), and I'm worried that requesting a lowered gore would make the cups more closed on top.

kate166 wow, I didn't realize they no longer have it. I have the musetta as a 3HC, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of depth on the inner parts of the cup.

kate166 Ewa Michalak makes her bands very tight. My regular UK size is 30E, but I am a 70DD (32DD) in all of her bras (and some of those fit more tightly than my UK 30Es). So, looking for 65E bras might be worth a try. Good luck with that!

  • Prettyncharmeuse I think 3HC is a little too shallow at the bottom for me, and lined plunge is too closed on top, so I'm really not sure if Musetta in 3HC and plunge would work for me, and they don't accept returns in a 60 band or with alterations :(

  • bracrastination Thank you! I looked at 65E styles and there are definitely more choices for me. However I would have to email them to ask if they ship to my country, and I'm really not optimistic about their customer service!
