Really not the most comfortable strap design. Both edges dig in -
These straps are 1.25" at their widest, with spacer foam padding in the middle! -

You can see here that there is some empty space at the top of the cup. Not uncommon with spacer bras, sometimes it seems like a construction problem or design flaw where the foam bubbles out from the top seam. -
