Oh man, this is so close to being my Goldilocks bra that I could cry. I ordered this Gorsenia thinking it would be worth a try, even though most spacer bras don't have enough immediate projection for me. When it arrived I got super excited, because what I didn't realize about this spacer foam is that it's transparent! It's so thin it functions almost just like an unpadded bra would and works perfectly for me with my rather pendulous shape.
Also good is the low gore (it could be a tad narrower for me, but it's low enough that it's comfy) and the color (their "beige" is pale enough to be a good nude for my super pale skin). The wires are nice and not too firm, almost narrow enough for me like most other Gorsenia models I've tried. I had meant to order a larger cup size, but Other Eden decided this converted to a 32F - I think it's more of an E, really, but the cups are stretchy enough that the depth works for me.
It would be amazingly comfortable if not for two things - the wings and the band. The way the straps connect to the foam makes the wings a bit higher than I'd like (I think it would work better for someone with a longer torso), and the seams there where they attach are a bit scratchy in my armpits. The band also has a scratchy feel to it, especially near the hooks and the lace part in the front between the cups. Any of the seams where elastic attaches, basically. It's comfortable for a little while, then I became super aware of everything and kept having to adjust things where they were scratching me. The band was also tight for a 32 (an extender will help for now, but throws off the strap placement for me). It just didn't feel like other Gorsenia bands to me, much lower quality material in the band than I'm used to with their more satiny bras.
I'm really hoping this will get more comfortable with wear, because I love everything else about the bra. It looks great under shirts and is really breathable in the heat. I'm tempted to try the 75E and see how that would work, but worry it might go even further into my armpits and be too wide. Just sooooooo close, grr.Beige colorway
