I'm still trying to get used to 30 bands. After wearing 32s and even 34s for so long, 30s seems a really tight, at first. However this one feels all right to me. My breasts are tall with wide roots and full on the bottom and sides, and that shape seems compatible with this style. I'm a sucker for lace, even if it isn't the most practical under clothing. I have a small amount of quadding in this, which I think is due to the padding maybe. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with it all in all.

  This is super cute! The hooks seem to be straining a little though, you might want to throw on an extender and this could also help with the quadding. Were your 32s riding up your back? If not, there is no reason to wear bands as tight as you can tolerate--you only want to go as snug as you need to get a secure fit. Leaner and/or more muscular people often need a looser band as there is no protection over sensitive ribs or muscle tissue, unlike a fluffier person. Some people mistakenly believe that buying bras that are too tight at first extends the life of the bra, but the "wearable life" you gain is canceled out by the wear caused by the strain on an overly tight band--the elastic will stretch faster, shortening wearability time.
  

• Thank you wendybien , I think I might do that! No need to strain the poor bra until it burst. This one definitely feels a bit more snug than my Parfait By Affinitas Fiona bra! And for the most part, I believe my 32s to be keeping everything right and tight in the rib area (The only time they rode up really is when I had the completely wrong cup size) Only one of them was too loose. I noticed if I shimmied side to side in one of my gap body ones, I could feel the band moving too. It actually was kind of fun! Needless to say that one is gone! I will definitely look into getting an extender though! Thank you for the advice!

  I just ordered a Pour Moi Amour bra, the unpadded version. They're so pretty I hope it works for me!! :)
  One thing I did notice immediately was that in your 3/4 view photo, it appears your breast root is significantly higher than the underwire. Does this bra have push-up pads in the lower portion? If not, I suspect there's a bit of empty space below your breast inside the cup. If you try pushing it up so the underwire sits directly in the IMF, does it want to stay there? If it stays, it should solve the quadding issue, but overall it looks too shallow for your breast shape and it will continually slide down to sit too low on your chest. The bra appears to be trying to flatten your breasts into the chest, rather than lifting and supporting. Not good!
  Even if your roots are wide, since you're FOB, you'll need some bras with more immediate projection near the underwire, that should eliminate empty space at the bottom of the cup. Hopefully that all made sense and this helps!! :)

  Slava-Zone I am such a sucker for cutesy lace, but anyway! The bra does indeed have padding in the lower portion! Thank you for your observations, I did think it sat a little low on my chest! But I didn't consider that and the bra shape together, and the padding together! I will definitely keep my eye out for things with more space at the bottom! For some reason I'm convinced I'm shallow, but I have to keep reminding myself that I am not really that shallow. Thank you very much for your help!

  I thought I was shallow for a long time too. I have quite splayed breasts so they kinda hide in my armpits until I lean forward or pull them forward, then I'm like "oh! i DO have boobs!" Finding bras with enough lower projection can be tough, but most padded and molded bras are shallow, so they can almost be entirely ruled out. The padding is supposed to push up, but if breasts are firm or very FOB, they just push the bra down! Yay gravity haha.
  An alternative if you really like push-up is getting a bra with enough lower projection, and make sure the top of the cup is very open, then put a separate pad in the bottom of the cup (foam cookies, silicone or gel pads, even a rolled up sock works!) and it should give a good, rounded push up effect without sitting low on the chest or having the top edge of the cup cut in.

  Slava-Zone Ahh good to know! My chest is both firm and full on the bottom, so I see where the kinda clinging to the bottom of my chest, smashy smash look comes from! I used to think my chest was really east west, but I realized that it was more a by product of wearing too small cups. (I used to wear 32Bs, then reluctantly switched to 32Cs...then found bratabase) I'm not really wedded to moulded or push up. I do really like plunges though as they tend to be tall enough for me. For some reason, I have this irrational fear of unlined bras... I've seen some lovely ones, but I just think bah your sad little chest with leave those unlined cups withered and empty...but anyway I digress! Thank you so much for the tips! This place has been WAY more helpful than any store I've been visited!

  You can still have bras with foam in them, just make sure they have seams. :) Like maybe the Comexim plunges would be good for you to try.

• Slava-Zone Thank you! I really appreciate that! In a world so full of misinformation about bras, its so nice to have good information! I was actually just explaining this to someone in my program. This woman was making fun of another woman, because the woman said she was a C cup. My colleague was convinced that there was no WAY the woman could be a C cup. I told her that its merely a 3 inch difference between bust and ribs. Cup size appearance and volume is based on the band and cup size. Its not static. Not all Cs have the same volume. Despite this she went on about how the other woman's chest is so flat, that even if her C cup fit she was clearly just vanity sizing to feel better about herself....what.....
  Some people will never have a bra that fits, because despite all the information out there they are determined to ignore it.
