Didn't fit
I simply adore the HM, and quite frankly I was really gutted to hear that it would be replaced by the SM. I was very sceptical about the fit of the SM, it looked more like a balconette and not like a halfcup, and in general, balconettes just don’t work for me. They give me quadboob and a pointy shape.
The SM Burek, however, was so beautiful and the shape in the pictures looked better than that of the SM Trefl that I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, I was right in my doubts. The SM Burek doesn’t have a tight seam at the top of the cup, so I don’t exactly quadboob (just almost), but instead, the lace at the top flattens my breasts. This could be a good thing support-wise, but due to the construction of the cup, the result is a pair of pointy boobs with almost empty fabric at the tip of the cup. The cups just don’t work with my round breasts, and the shape is really not flattering – it’s pointy and doesn’t give the uplift I want but rather presses my breasts downwards. A huge letdown compared to the HM’s compact, upflifted and round shape https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Here's a comparison of the shape I get from the HM, which suits my shape naturally, and SM, which doesn’t: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16490226/sm_vs_hm.png
The band is snug but not uncomfortably tight, I can fasten it on the loosest hooks as new and it would probably stretch pretty soon. The cups are true to size, I think. The straps are broad, soft and not very stretchy, so probably very comfortable. The wires are narrower than in the HM, which isn’t a problem for me, rather the contrary.
So all in all, it’s a superbly beautiful bra and technically it’s an okay fit for me. However, the shape is such a turnoff for me that I’ll be listing this straight away – I know I won’t be using it anyway.
Baaww, I miss the HM https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />This bra is not owned any more
