Didn't fit

First off, I purchased this bra on clearance in a sister size. My experience of this bra is wearing it with an extender -- which, in this size, is what I had planned when I purchased it.

So beautiful, and yet so deadly.

I am generally pretty practical when it comes to my bras. Beige full cup grandma bra? Sure, as long as it's comfortable. Sports bra in a conical uniboob? If it provides motion control, why not?

And yet, I lusted after the Sienna. I still do. The plum/navy colourway is gorgeous -- rich, deep, sensual.

Unfortunately.

This bra is trying to kill me.

The wires are too narrow and too tall. They are also quite stiff, which means they don't just pinch my side breast tissue -- they trap and suffocate it. Additionally, they stab me in the armpits sufficient to leave bruises. The center gore? Those wires are aiming straight for my heart, never mind if they have to bore directly through my sternum to get there.

The wings are trying to become part of my armpits. Seriously. I'm five foot eight with a torso that's average for my height (though to be fair, I think my breasts may be higher set than is strictly average). I don't have the exact measurements on hand, but when I wear it, it *feels* like the wings on this are higher than on my Panache Sports bra.

And the straps. Partially adjustable. Would be quite content to strangle me in the dressing process. Designed for someone with less substantial biceps, triceps, and deltoids. There have been times when I've seriously wondered how my arm fits through the arm hole to get the thing on.

On top of everything else, the lace itches.

If you're reading this review along with my listing, please know this -- Even now, I am listing this bra partially against my will. A significant part of me wants to keep it, wants to make it work -- wants to *believe* I can make it work.

Then there is a small voice. It is my left boob talking (being larger, it is the more opinionated of the two). "No way, lady! Get rid of this one and get us something that fits!"

This bra is not owned any more
