Fits

After getting xl implants I was in need of a very good, supportive bra. It was very important that it not only be comfortable but that the fit was correct and the band do the heavy lifting not the straps. After asking which bra would fit that criteria for daily use I decided on the 4234 model. I wasn't disappointed.

Everything I was told about this bra was true. It's doesn't poke, the under wires sit correctly on me and do not bother my armpit even after hours of wear. It looks amazing under clothes. Its so comfy that I don't even feel like I am wearing a bra and forget that I have it on.

You can imagine after having implants that I have done a fair amount of research on bras and correct fit. I want to protect my investments so well made, well fitting bras that are supportive but very wearable is a must.

Before implants I always wore a 36(US sizing) band. I was also wearing a B cup as I didn't really fill out a C cup due to breastfeeding and deflation that followed. I have since taken very careful measurements and recorded them during healing. After learning how to properly measure and properly fit into a bra I ordered only one, this one, as a starting point, in a 34GG(UK sizing) which is equal to a 34J(US sizing).

I was scared, good bras are expensive but a good investment as well. I worried that a 34 band would feel too tight. I was used to wearing a 36 which fit me ok, but struggled all day long adjusting and pulling up or down depending on which way I moved, and with the band so loose it didn't support anything. What I realize now was that I was part of the pack of women who wore an ill-fitting incorrectly sized bra.

The band on this bra was tight at first. With it latched on the last hooks I felt a little constricted but I knew that was partly due to being so used to such a loose band. At first I wore it only a few hours and switched back to my sports bra. After only a few, couple of hour wears, it now fits perfectly but hasn't stretched where I would need to change to the middle set of fasteners.

The quick lowdown:

The band: while initially tight has stretched slightly with a few wears. I can now wear it for hours and forget that I am wearing a bra. The stretch is minimal so don't expect it to be loose after a few wears, the band strength holds up nicely with wear continuing to be very supportive and staying in one spot no matter which way you turn or bend.

The straps: They are not padded but are very comfortable and on the wider side. They do adjust nicely after the initial change in position. They are wider set. On me they sit slightly to the inside of my armpit. If you like a more central set strap then this bra may feel uncomfortable to you like you need to move them towards your neck more. I don't mind it.

The cup: Molded and very comfortable. Seamless and gives great shape and look under anything I have worn so far. I don't fall out of them even if I am bending over.

I couldn't be happier as this bra fits like a glove. Nothing moves all day long, I don't have to adjust anything ever. I forget I am wearing it. Its very supportive and not only lifts but gives a nice rounded shape that I prefer.
