Didn't fit
This is another beautifully made Fauve bra. It's a 3-part cup with soft embroidered lace, and not really "padded," but heavily lined. It's a gorgeous, classic kind of pretty, but I don't know that I'd recommend wearing under a thin top. I haven't tried that yet and I suspect the embroidery would show through. The picot edgings on the lace folds around the cups a bit, but it's soft so hasn't caused problems for me. You might want to watch that if you have super-sensitive skin?
I have this bra and a Fauve Pearl (also a padded half-cup) in 34F at the same time, and this one is the one I'm keeping. The band is reasonably firm, but has a little more give than the Pearl, and again is 2 hooks. The wires are just about wide enough. They come to the front edge of my underarm, and while they're sitting on just a bit of breast tissue, they're still comfortable. The cups are shallowly shaped, which is perfect for me since I often have orange-in-a-glass kinds of problems. This bra wants you to have some fullness on top — more than I do — but the gapping isn't that noticeable. The gore is nicely narrow and I'm a huge fan of how it's a bit lower in the center than many half-cups and balconettes.
One other thing to note is that the straps are decorated and not fully adjustable. They're also set just about as widely as I'd ever want. Neither of these things are a problem for me in this case, but could be negatives for others.
