Didn't fit
*sigh* My quest to find a correct fitting bra continues. How much more money will I have to spend??
Anyway, let's start with the good. The colors are gorgeous. The fabrics are sumptuous. The front of the straps start with satin and widen to about 1.25" wide, and the back half of the straps are quite stretchy. The embroidery is so detailed. This is a very beautiful bra. When I swoop-and-scoop, I fill the cups perfectly. At least the cup volume is correct, so I know the dimensions to look for in an open-top bra (despite what the label says).
But the shape? SOOOO wrong! After moving my arms around, there are small gaps in the center front and my tissue spills out at my armpits. It's wonderfully open on top, which is good, but almost too projected for me. The apex separation is only 3.5" when lying on a flat surface, so this is definitely not for wide-set breasts, which I have.
While the band doesn't stretch that much (barely over 6") it still manages to slide around on me due to the satin fabric and I can still stretch it pretty far from my back on the tightest hook. Sadly, I didn't look for a 28DD because of Masquerade's reputation of being too tight. I also have to tighten the straps quite a bit to attempt to keep the cups from allowing my breasts to spill out from the sides, so that helps the band slide up in the back.
In conclusion...
My breasts: Wide-set, have wide root width, have shallow-medium projection, have a pointy-medium profile, and are between even fullness and full-on-top.
This bra is meant for: Close-set breasts, medium root width, medium-deep projection, pointy profile, and full-on-top breasts.
I hope this helps potential future buyers. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
