This was my first try with a Debenham's bra, and my absolute initial impression was that they love their hang-tags. There was one on the center gore, one tacked to the left strap, and then one on the back size tags on the fastener. I never really appreciated how much easier it is to try on bras that use just one hang tag on a loop of ribbon that you can move around; trying to get a new bra on without bending any of the cardboard tags (in case you need to ship it back!) is intimidating.
That feeling of cheapness aside, the bra itself seems very well made. The wires are sturdy with very little lateral give (nice for those of us needing narrow cups), and the band stays firm over a day's wear. The seams are all well-finished, and the fabrics are soft.
I chose this style because it was recommended as better for full-on-bottom types out of the Gorgeous line, which tends to be better for full-on-top ladies, and I found it to be excellent. The lace along the top isn't quite as form-fitting (stretchy/forgiving/etc.) as the Panache stretch laces, but does have a bit of elastic sewn across the top of the cup, which combined with the support from the vertical-seamed bottom part of the cup gives excellent shape for full-on-bottom.
I do find that it comes up a little high on the sides, and catches on my armpit fat a bit, but not so much that I wanted to part with it.
Overall, it's an excellent bra in an adorable color-way at an excellent price point. If I can identify the style in other colors (I truly hate when the manufacturers re-name the colors as though they are different styles. What on earth is the point?) I'll likely pick up a few more. I just want to see how it wears over a few months first.
