Fits
This is for the purple Marcie.
It will be a very sad day if the Marcie is ever discontinued - I absolutely love this bra! As I'm learning more about my shape, I think I'm fairly "even" (not really top heavy, not really bottom heavy), but my tissue extends up to my collar bones so I think I can sometimes handle styles that are good for more top-heavy breasts, as the Marcie is supposed to be. If you're similarly shaped I highly, highly recommend this bra. The fit of the purple is very similar to that of the turquoise version I reviewed earlier, but I'll mention a few thoughts anyway:
*The gore is a bit high, but there is enough extra space in the channels to facilitate pushing the wires down a bit in the middle so they come up a little bit around the sides. It's fine after that minor adjustment. If I don't do that the wires kind of get pushed together strangely in the middle. It doesn't alter the fit at all, and it's not uncomfortable in any way, just a little quirk.
*The band is small and pretty firm. I'm wearing bras slightly looser lately, and an extender with this to add one extra set of hooks is perfect. For reference, I'm 25-26 inches underbust. The purple might be a tiny bit smaller than the turquoise, but not enough to very noticeably impact fit.
*The deep purple color is so pretty!
