Fits

Me: very soft tissue; Measurements: UB 68/72 cm (26.5/28.5"), Bust 87/92 (34/36.5")

Oh gosh, this bra is so very much to my taste and very beautiful and intricate. It's like an even naughtier version of Cappuccino. The cups and straps are made of the same color, but the "eyelash" lace overlay is more elegant. The lacing on the cup is actually laced - it's not just sewn on - but it doesn't show under shirts. I really like the oversized bows Ewa is using lately too. I am SO happy about the included half-pads for asymmetry also.

As for fit, I think the cup is fairly true to size, or at least the cup volume is close to the 65E Ametyst that I have. Ametyst has unusually flexible wires however so it is difficult to judge from that. From my experience with Gazeta, I was sure Famme Fatale would be too large, but it seems to fit fine even without the padding (my pictures are without on the larger side).

The wires are very firm and quite supportive and don't allow my soft tissue to settle to the sides, so I don't get any east-west action (an issue I struggle with in other CHPs with softer wires). This yields excellent cleavage that still feels secure. The wings are a little higher than the previous season CHPs which is great for corralling any skin in the armpit. It's not enough to poke you in the armpit though - it's like 1/2"/1 cm.

This band feels quite stretchy to me. Normally I am comfortable on the loosest hooks, but I fastened this one on the 2nd and 3rd hook (and even the last) with ease right out of the box. I'm not sure I want to go to a 65E however, because the cup proportions fit me better on the 70 band. Hopefully it won't stretch quickly.

Ah man! You always get the bras I want and make me want them so much more... Must hold off until January! Lucky you!

  • MearCat I might have to enter Bra Buyer's Anonymous. The first step is to acknowledge there is a problem.

To torture you even more, I bet this one will fit you. . . The top is open and I know that's what you are looking for. If you thought the other 70s were too loose, you'll want to size down I think, though I've now decided to mark this as a fit (albeit a little loosely) because the cups are really great.

  • Seriuosly. It's like I start looking at a bra and with in like two weeks you have it! As soon as people suggested the CHP this is the first one I wanted! The only thing I'm really concerned about is I thought it was shallow in the bottom.

The 70s bands are like... just right. Not too tight, not too loose. I'm on the second hook, but there's four hooks so I'm not tooooo worried. I thought you were thinking about returning this one?

  • The CHPs aren't shallow at all. There's plenty of space in the bottom of the cup.

I was really on the fence about 65 vs 70 (as I'm right on the border between the two), but after wearing around today, I'm fine on the second hook so I'm going to keep it. The 70DD is shorter in the cup than the 65E which suits me better anyway.

  • Shorter in the cup as in lower? Yeah, I'm on the bigger end of the 65-70 range. But the 70 seems perfect. What's the difference between the CHP and CH btw?
