Read my profile for a more in-depth description of my breasts. Cuz I'm lazy and don't want to copy and paste! Also, when I order from Ewa, I use the size they recommend on their site (gasp!) and it has worked great.
I read online (one source: http://thecurveshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/07/ewa-michalak-part-2.html) that the 3D bras from Ewa are scaled down to fit small breasts. I love Ewa's PL Onyks, and wanted to try more of the plunge styes and I'm right at the top of the "small" range for the 3D, so I thought I'd give some a try. The 3D Bambino is 1 of 3 I purchased, along with 3D Porcelanka and 3D Satine. All three share the same basic construction, made with 3 panels (you can see in the photos).
Pros:
*The bra is lovely, easily the prettiest bra I've ever owned. So. Stinking. Cute.
*Very, very, comfortable. I wore it for 12+ hours the first day, no problems. In fact, the only time I though about my bra was to think, "Squeeee! I'm wearing a new bra! It's hugging meeee!"
*The quality is very high, very soft fabric, but not so much so that I'm worried about hurting it.
*My breast are close together (<1 pinky width between them), and the low gore is super comfortable. The plunge does make it so the center of my breasts are a bit more jiggly than I'm used to, but I never felt unsupported.
*Super solid support, never felt like I'd pop out or anything.
*Band is perfect. Firm, not too tight, starting out on the first set of hooks.
*The removable "push up" pads are more like adjusters. I use one in the right cup for my slightly smaller breasts so they look even. Not "push up" at all, so don't be fooled. But it gives a great shape, no push up needed!
*This bra gives a great shape. Slightly more pointed (but not pointy! Not pointy!) than the PL Onyks. Gives me a touch of cleavage. A miracle if I ever saw one.
*Narrow wires (duh).
Cons:
* I have very tall roots. If I push my chest out, or take a deep breath, the top panel does push into my upper breast tissue and looks kinda quad boob-ish. But I don't walk around puffed up, so it's not really an issue. All 3 3D bras do this - I won't be ordering this style again because of it, but its a very minor issue for me.
Super happy with my purchase, love the Ewa bras.
